Cancellation Policy

Booking & Availability Speaking engagements are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. A confirmed booking requires a signed agreement and deposit. Event dates are not held without confirmation. Deposit & Payment A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure the date. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Cancellation Policy If an event is canceled by the client: More than 30 days before the event: the balance is waived, but the deposit is non-refundable. Within 30 days of the event: the full speaking fee is due. If I must cancel due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, all payments made will be fully refunded, and I will work with you to reschedule if possible. Event Requirements Clients agree to provide all necessary equipment and accommodations, including: Microphone (if required) Projector/screen (if using slides) Seating/set-up as discussed Access to the venue at least 30–60 minutes before the event for preparation Travel & Lodging For events outside the local area, travel and lodging costs may apply and will be discussed prior to booking. Recording & Media Use Recording (audio, video, or photography) is allowed with prior written approval. Any public use—including posting on social media, websites, or promotional materials—requires consent. Marketing & Promotion If the event is public, I may share approved promotional materials on my website or social platforms unless requested otherwise. Respectful Environment A safe, respectful, and inclusive environment is required for all speaking engagements. I reserve the right to discontinue an event if the environment becomes unsafe or inappropriate.
